The client was having the entire roofing replaced across their main dwelling, granny flat, and carport on a large Kenthurst property. As part of the wider project, the lower wrap around verandahs on the main dwelling needed to be fully rebuilt. B-Built Projects was brought in to handle the structural and carpentry work on the verandahs while MBM Roofing handled the roof replacement across the site.
The existing wrap arounds were dated and needed to come down completely before being rebuilt. The work had to be coordinated alongside the roofing team who were working across three structures on the same property at the same time.
We stripped back the old verandah structure and rebuilt it from scratch. The new wrap arounds extend around the lower level of the main dwelling, giving the homeowners covered outdoor space on multiple sides of the home.
All framing and structural work was completed to tie in with the new Colorbond roofing going on above. We coordinated closely with MBM Roofing throughout to keep the project running on schedule and make sure everything lined up where the two builds met.
The completed property is a full transformation from what was there before. The new lower wrap arounds give the main dwelling covered outdoor living on every side, and the whole site now reads as one cohesive property with matched Monument Colorbond roofing across the dwelling, granny flat, and carport.
Our scope was the verandah rebuild, and it sits cleanly under MBM's roofing work. A good example of how we work alongside other trades on larger projects to deliver our part on time and to standard.
